I am the Cordova Kid. I lived the book. Darlene and I met in 1966 and were married three months later. That was 51 years ago. Two children, Dina and David, and two grandchildren,  Deuce and David, have made our lives rich and rewarding. With a very strong math and science foundation from Grant County High School, I managed to educate  myself in electronic engineering. This led to a ten year career in Broadcast Television Engineering, followed by nearly three decades as an entrepreneur, founding two global companies in video technology development. Throughout that time, Darlene worked by my side. We retired in 2013, and continue to live in Kentucky, not too far from Cordova.
